What Do You Want?

Clients often come first with a desire for something to be different in their lives... Here's some steps you can use to start changing your life.

1. Do a round of EFT (see previous post or my website for EFT recipe) for what you don't have.

For example, use the following set up statement: "Even tho I don't have the job I want, I deeply and completely love and accept myself".

2. Next make a list of what's in the way of getting what you want - I can't finish my resume, I'm not confident in my interviews, I won't make enough networking calls.... Then, do a round of EFT for each thing in the way.

For example, use the following set up statement for lack of confidence: "Even though I don't feel good about myself when I interview, I deeply and completely love and accept myself".

3. As you do the EFT, make notes about your "internal dialogue" and use the negative self talk for additional rounds of EFT.

REMEMBER: EFT removes the charge of these negative thoughts, so your natural positive thoughts can bubble up.

Let me know how it goes!

EFT Technique, the "Recipe"

The Steps in the EFT Recipe
(for description with Pictures, see my website: http://www.lifechgcoach.com/)

Here's the steps in the Emotional Freedom Technique.

FIRST: Feel the discomfort you wish to tap for, and rate it on a scale of 1 to 10.

1. The Setup

Repeat this affirmation 3 times:

"Even though 1 have this (say what’s bothering you)
I deeply and completely love and accept myself.”
.
...while tapping the karate chop point.

2. The TAPPING Sequence

Tap about 7 times on each of the following energy points while repeating the Reminder
Phrase (include just the key words describing your discomfort from the setup affirmation)
at each point.

TH - Top of Head (crown)
EB - Beginning of the Eye Brow
SE - Side of the Eye
UE - Under the Eye
UN - Under the Nose
Ch - Chin
CB - Beginning of the Collar Bone
UA - Under the Arm
Th - Thumb
IF - Index Finger
MF - Middle Finger
BF - Baby Finger
KC - Karate Chop

3. The 9 Gamut Procedure

Continuously tap on the Gamut point while performing each of these 9 actions:
(1) Eyes closed
(2) Eyes open
(3) Eyes hard down right
(4) Eyes hard down left
(5) Roll eyes in circle
(6) Roll eyes in other direction
(7) Hum 2 seconds of a song
(8) Count to 5 and back to 1
(9) Hum 2 seconds of a song.

4. REPEAT The TAPPING Sequence

IMPORTANT: When finished, STOP and notice what has happened…Then compare how the feeling you tapped for has changed (rate it on a scale of 1 to 10 again). And repeat as necessary…. (or tap for what comes up stronger).

Transformation Through Self-Discovery

Stop Looking to Fix What is "Wrong":

No Self-Improvement or Technique is going to change who you are... but there's always more to discover about yourself that will enable positive change.

Whatever you want in your life but don't have yet, the solution is always the same: learn more about yourself. With client after client, experience has shown me that people transform their lives when they are more self-accepting and learn more about themselves. Importantly, they empower themselves by learning how they are making choices that are getting them what they don't want - so they can then make different choices that get them what they do want.

This is simple but not easy... Luckily, there are ways to help make this process easier. Whenever you can't see new options, or can't make new choices, there are energetic disruptions in your body's energy system (think: accupuncture meridians) and distorted beliefs about life. These disruptions can often be "rewired" with the Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) or Core Energetics exercises, opening clients up to be more of who they really are, more fulfilled and more at peace with themselves.

The purpose of this Blog is to show how Transformation occurs at the individual level. We'll be dealing with real world challenges and how to overcome them, so you can be more of who you truly are, fulfilling your greatest dreams.
